Manhood - Having a sense of responsibility to family, the community, and self.
Scholarship - Ability to show quality performance inside as well as outside the classroom.
Perseverance -The ability to start a task and finish it despite difficulties.

Application
All applications must be typed or completed in blue or black ink.
Submit an official school acceptance letter from a university or college.
Participation in an interview with Sigma Iota Scholarship Committee.
Submit two written recommendations, preferably from a teacher, minister, employer or community leader.
Official High School Transcripts.
Submit a 500 word essay discussing a topic selected by our Scholarship Committee Chairman.
